WE HAVE PEOPLE WITH BACKGROUNDS IN FINANCE, DESIGN, URBAN PLANNING, VENTURE CAPITAL, AND ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITIES ... THESE ALL COME TOGETHER TO FORM A GREAT TEAM.

The Clark culture is hard to describe, but I think that’s a good thing because it means a different thing to everybody. The reason that I joined was because of what I thought the Clark culture would mean to my life – what I did here and what it would mean to my work-life balance. I think that is particularly important to young people when we don’t have a background in real estate. We are able to use whatever experiences that we bring to Clark, even from non-real estate backgrounds, and are able to use those in a multitude of contexts in this company.

Our open office environment – what we call, “the bullpen” – is a main source of creativity and fun in this organization. We hear each other’s conversations all the time and jump in on discussions. We’ve developed a camaraderie that has allowed us to build up a level of trust that I don’t think would have occurred if we hadn’t been in this informal, fun environment. The teamwork at Clark has been very integral to my professional development. I feel very proud to be part of an organization of talented and smart people.
