At Clark Realty Capital, there is a culture of entrepreneurship. Every development executive can do what they are passionate about, provided they’re using the resources here at the company and working with our Investment Committee.

I’m passionate about development, but more so in the center of urban areas to make best use of the urban infrastructure that’s there. I am most proud of a project called Massachusetts Court. It is a project where we assembled 27 lots, went through a complete zoning process, and got it done in a very short timeframe. But, the great part of that was that prior to us getting those approvals and developing that site, there was nothing in that neighborhood. Today, the whole downtown development district of Washington, DC has sprung up. I’d like to think in part because of what we did there.
